This collaborative online webinar titled, Powerful and Intuitive Technology: Providing Crestron AV Solutions for COSTARS Members, featured many expert speakers including Keith Stengl and Benjamin Harrow from Crestron, Ryan Malloy and John Parry from Profound Technologies, and Stephanie Sun representing COSTARS.
Crestron and Profound Technologies presenters had an engaging discussion and shared information on the benefits of working with a COSTARS vendor, AV solutions options, Crestron Government Support Services Program, and provided a demo of Crestron’s 1 Beyond with Automate VX.
COSTARS Membership Benefits
The COSTARS program provides shared services to support the business operations of all agencies of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Stephanie Sun, Bureau of Procurement Marketing Manager at the Pennsylvania Department of General Services, presented the COSTARS benefits which includes free membership, reduction of cost and time of the public bidding process, flexibility and choice, and more. AV Solutions for COSTARS Members

Ryan Malloy, Business Development Executive at Profound Technologies, presented an overview of Profound’s capabilities and highlighted they are a COSTARS vendor under Contract 34, which means they handle auditorium lighting and sound, AV equipment, and commercial conference rooms such as board rooms, classrooms, Town Halls and more.
Profound works closely with many technology leaders including Crestron with projects and service support across the country. John Parry, Sales Engineer at Profound Technologies, reviewed a few client examples with specific AV needs addressed with Crestron room solutions.

Benjamin Harrow, Technical Director at Crestron, provided a demo of a 1 Beyond camera with an Automate VX multi-camera speaker tracking solution. The Automate VX solution employs voice-activated switching to ensure remote participants enjoy a clear, crisp view of everyone in the room and in-person participants never have to think about where to look to follow the conversation.
